In short
- A small senior team — the people who scope your project are the people who build it.
- Based in Vietnam, working with clients here and in Europe.
- We ship weekly, write things down, and hand over everything at the end.
01Who we are
We are a small web engineering studio. Not an agency with a sales team and a delivery team who have never met, and not a freelancer with a logo. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it and the person who picks up the phone a year later.
That shape is deliberate. It means we take fewer projects than we could, and it means nothing gets handed down a chain until the original idea is unrecognisable. It also means we will tell you early if we are the wrong studio for a job, because the cost of being wrong lands on us too.
Ten years in, we have launched more than forty products: marketing sites, booking systems, storefronts, operations dashboards, internal tools, and the AI features that are now creeping into all of them.
02Who you work with
Founder & lead engineer
Ryan
I have been building for the web for over a decade — as an engineer first, and for the last stretch running this studio. Most of my work is the unglamorous middle of products: the data model that still makes sense in year three, the checkout that does not lose orders, the dashboard someone actually opens every morning.
I work directly on every project we take. You will not be introduced to me in a pitch and handed to someone else afterwards — if you hire this studio, I am in your sprints, on your demos and in your repository.
I am based in Vietnam and work with clients here and in Europe, which means my afternoons belong to Madrid and my mornings to Ho Chi Minh City. Outside work, I am usually building Fotocaja, which is either a hobby or a second job depending on the week.
03How we work
Four things we do on every project, and will not be talked out of.
- Write the scope down first. A fixed price is only honest if both sides know what is in it. The discovery phase is where projects are saved or lost.
- Demo every week. Working software on a staging link beats any status report. It also means you can change direction in week four instead of discovering a problem in week fourteen.
- Leave nothing locked. Your repositories, your cloud accounts, your domains, your code. A client who stays because leaving would be painful is not a client relationship worth having.
- Say the uncomfortable thing early. That the deadline will not hold, that the feature is not worth building, that the budget buys a smaller version. Late honesty is just a worse kind of surprise.
The mechanics — discovery, design, two-week sprints, launch and care — are set out on the services page, and what each stage costs is on the pricing page.
04Who we build for
Businesses where software is not the product they sell but is the thing they run on: restaurants and hotels taking bookings around the clock, retailers selling online as well as in person, dealerships, operators with fleets and sensors to watch, and founders with a first product to get into the world.
Among them: MoonShot Media S.L.U, Toyota Thanh Mai Dong Thap, Casa Grande Thao Dien, El Toro — Home for Steak & Wines, and Sebastian — Seafood & Grills. You can see the kinds of systems we build for them on the work section of our home page.
Working with us does not mean appearing here. We ask before naming anyone, and a no stays a no.
05Our own product
Fotocaja is a cloud photo-editing platform for studios working at volume — designed, built, paid for and operated in-house. It is the reason a few of the claims on this website are not theoretical.
Running our own SaaS means we carry the costs we usually describe to clients: the cloud bill when traffic triples, the migration nobody budgeted for, the support ticket at 23:00, the feature that seemed essential and turned out to be nobody’s favourite. That experience shapes how we advise you — particularly when we suggest building less than you asked for.
06The business
